Shanghai Penthouse.....(via Made By Girl)

The NY Times featured this loft-like penthouse apartment in Shanghai & I totally fell in LOVE with it...really! It reminds me of a hip BROOKLYN brownstone where you can see the living room & dining area while you're standing in the kitchen! Very much an open concept kind of space but still a bedroom for privacy. Her furniture style is unique with stunning pieces like a sunny YELLOW dresser/console style table.....what an eye-candy piece...don't you think?!?

A "WOW" home in Malaysia...

Whenever I think of Malaysia, I don't often think of gorgeous homes....instead I think of beautiful beaches and vacation getaways.  So, when I came across this home via the New York Times I was taken aback! I am also really impressed by the artwork as well as the furniture within this apartment...and I bet the view from that balcony is breathtaking. The owners of this condo are quite fortunate indeed! 
 
Does anyone out there live in Malaysia? or stayed in a gorgeous place in Malaysia? Let us know what your experience has been like there?

Toronto High Rise Living.....(on Made By Girl)

Hello everyone! It seems like FOREVER since I've blogged -but in reality it's only been a couple days! I've missed all of you, and yes, I've been reading your comments. Thank you for the antique shops you all posted & if you haven't done so yet, please post the good ones in your town! OMG! Texas was VERY H-U-M-I-D, I had no idea! However, the Colorado weather was quite nice in comparison.


As many of you know, I am a FAN of the NY Times & love their home & garden section! It's where you can find info and pics on homes from all around the country. Homes such as this one in TORONTO. Any of you from there? I visited Toronto about 10 years ago (too long, must go back) & was very impressed with it!  It reminded me of New York in a way & there was never a shortage of things to do there...that's for sure!  I heard they have some amazing condos as well....let me know what you think of Toronto & of this AMAZING home that is inspiring me to go back & visit!!

Home via New York Times

Hello everyone! The 4th of July will be here once again....any plans?? As for me, we'll be flying out of town and leaving a friend to take care of the dogs here at home. But on the morning of the 4th, I head to church, then later volunteering at the soup kitchen for the homeless.  I may have jam packed my schedule on the 4th, so I guess I'll have to pack on the 2nd! 


A few weeks ago this particular home was featured in the New York Times & I was amazed at how de-cluttered it was. I mean, it's almost like minimalism, although not quite reduced to its necessary elements. As for me, I love ART too much to have so many blank walls, so I'd have to add more! However, the artwork that did catch my eye was their Mick Jagger (Warhol) print....one of my all-time favorite Warhol pieces.
